Agreement

These terms are between you and Gregory Dolder (“we”, “us”), the developer of Range Rally. By downloading or using the Range Rally apps (“the app”) or this website, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app or the site.

If you’re under the age of majority where you live, please use Range Rally with the permission of a parent or guardian.

License and the Apple Standard EULA

The app is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These terms add details specific to Range Rally. If they conflict with the Standard EULA about the app, the Standard EULA controls. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content.

What Range Rally does

Range Rally is a practice log and game for golfers. You record the club, distance and direction of your shots, and the app keeps your history, scores and statistics. Range Rally doesn’t measure your shots; its numbers are only as accurate as what you enter.

Range Rally Premium

• Range Rally Premium is an optional, one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. It isn’t a subscription, and it doesn’t renew.
• Apple processes the purchase under the App Store’s terms. Prices are shown in the App Store before you buy and can vary by country.
• Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• You can restore Premium on your devices signed in with the same Apple Account from Settings › Restore Purchase in the app.
• We work to improve Range Rally over time, which can mean adding, changing or retiring features, including Premium features. See what Premium includes today.

Your data

The data you create in Range Rally belongs to you. It’s stored on your devices and, if you use iCloud, in your private iCloud database. We don’t receive it. Because we can’t restore it for you, we recommend keeping iCloud on or exporting a backup from time to time. Our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.

AI coaching

Range Rally’s AI coaches generate responses with Apple Intelligence on your device. AI responses can be incomplete or wrong. They are golf practice suggestions for your own judgment, not professional instruction, and not medical, health or safety advice. The AI Coach Terms of Use shown in the app also apply. Please use Report an Issue in the chat if a response is inappropriate or inaccurate.

Health and safety

Range Rally isn’t a medical device. Heart-rate and calorie figures come from Apple Watch and Apple Health and are for general fitness information only. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise program, and stop if you feel unwell.

Golf facilities can be dangerous. Stay aware of the people around you, follow the range’s rules, and don’t use your phone or watch in a way that distracts you or others while anyone is swinging.

Course names

Range Rally includes practice versions of real golf courses. Course names are used only to identify the courses those versions are modeled on, and their hole data is an approximation for practice. Range Rally isn’t affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any golf course, club or tournament. Course names may be trademarks of their owners.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Range Rally in a way that breaks the law or the rules of the App Store;
• copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, except where the law allows it;
• interfere with the app or this website, or try to get around their security.

Apple services

Range Rally works with Apple services such as iCloud, HealthKit, Apple Intelligence, Apple Watch and the App Store. Your use of those services is governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policy. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the Standard EULA and may enforce it.

Intellectual property

Range Rally, its design, artwork, text and software are owned by Gregory Dolder and protected by copyright and other laws. Apple, iPhone, iPhone Duo, iPad, Apple Watch, iCloud and Apple Intelligence are trademarks of Apple Inc. Other names belong to their owners.

Disclaimers

Range Rally and this website are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of statistics or AI responses, or uninterrupted operation. Some places don’t allow these exclusions, so they may not all apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of Range Rally or this website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Range Rally Premium, if anything. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Range Rally after an update, the updated terms apply.
